Prompts you keep on paper
Answer privately; do not post balances online. Prompt A: describe a purchase you are proud of and one you regret. What differed—timing, company, mood? Prompt B: write about money and your parents in three sentences without judgment. Patterns often start there.
Prompt C: list five words you wish money felt like (calm, generous, spacious) and five it currently feels like (tight, loud, foggy). Brainstorm one habit that moves a word from the second list toward the first—not a giant leap, a plausible nudge.
Prompt D: if you had to explain your portfolio to a twelve-year-old, where would you stumble? That stumble is a learning map. Prompt E: note one expense you defend and one you excuse—defense and excuse feel similar but point different directions.
